Coach Meadors’s extensive coaching career started at Tennessee Tech where she coached for 20 seasons. At Tech, she recorded a school record .723 winning percentage and won over 350 games; becoming the first major women’s college head coach to win over 350 games at one school.  Her Golden Eagle teams won four Ohio Valley Conference championships.  Coach Meador’s next coaching stop was with Florida State where she was able to turn around a struggling program into a NCAA tournament team.

Ms. Meadors went on to coach in the WNBA at one point serving as the now-defunct Charlotte Stings’ Head Coach, General Manager, and director of player and staff personnel.  She currently has been named Head Coach and General manager of the up start Atlanta Dream.
