During his career he reported on over 80 OVC championship teams and two national football championship squads. Because of his close familiarity with the league he was asked to be a member of the 40th and 50th OVC Anniversary Celebration Committees in 1988 and 1998. Park was awarded the College Sports Information Directors of America’s “Best in the Nation” twice for his work on EKU’s winter sports guides. He has also worked for the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association as the Mideast Director, a position he held for six years.
