The roots of the Ohio Valley Conference date back over 60 years to 1948, making the OVC the eighth-oldest Division I conference. Over that time period the League has inspired excellence in its student-athletes as they have compete on the playing fields, excel in the classroom and then transition into being leaders in their communities.
