MURRAY, KY. - Sixth-seeded Eastern Illinois upset No. 3 Eastern Kentucky in five sets (25-22, 21-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-8) to advance to the semifinals of the 2014 OVC Volleyball Championship. The Panthers will face the winner over the Belmont/Austin Peay match on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The match can be seen on the OVC Digital Network and ESPN3.
Abby Saalfrank led the Panthers with her 15th career double-double as she tallied a match-high 24 kills to go with 18 digs. Chelsea Lee and Allie Hueston reache double-digit in kills with 12 and 11, respectively. Stephanie Wallace paced the EIU defense with her 22 digs while Kelsey Brooke had 15 digs and Dakota Springer chipped in 13. Marah Bradbury nearly picked up a double-double with 54 assists and nine digs.
Eastern Kentucky was led by Alexis Plagens as she recorded a match-best 24 kills to go with 14 digs in the contest. Abbey Cvelbar also registered a double-double with her match-high 55 assists and 13 digs. Dena Ott led all players with 32 digs.
The Colonels finish the season with a 21-14 record.

MURRAY, Ky. - Second-seeded Belmont defeated No. 7 Austin Peay in four sets (23-25, 27-25, 22-25, 25-22) to advance to the semifnals of the 2014 OVC Volleyball Championship. The Bruins will face No. 6 Eastern Illinois on Friday at 4:30 p.m. That match can be seen on the OVC Digital Network and ESPN3.
Arianna Person led the Bruins with 18 kills in the match while Scarlet Gable added 17 kills. Emily Richards paced the Bruin defense with 16 digs. Emma Price dished out 39 assists to go with eight digs.
Austin Peay had four player each double digits in kills with Christina White and Hillary Plybon leading the way with 12 kills each. Jads Stots recorded 11 kills and a match-high 20 digs. Ashley Slay added 11 kills in the match.
The Lady Govs fiished the season with a 14-19 record.

MURRAY, Ky. - Top-seeded Murray State defeated No. 8 Southeast Missouri in three sets (25-17, 25-19, 25-19) to advance to the semifinals of the 2014 OVC Volleyball Championship. The Racers will face the winner of the Jacksonville State/Tennessee Tech match on Friday at 7 p.m. CT. The match can be seen on the OVC Digital Network as well as ESPN3.
Kristen Besselsen registered a match-high 15 kills in the win while Alyssa Lelm added 13. Sam Bedard recorded a double-double with 36 assists and a match-best 19 digs. Scottie Ingram also led all players with 19 digs to go with eight kills.
Southeast Missouri was led by Andrea Baylin with six kills and 13 digs. Hayley Roberts dished out 13 assists while Carlie Cuffle had 10 digs.
The Redhawks finished the season with an 11-20 record.

MURRAY, Ky. - Fifth-seeded Jacksonville State defeated No. 4 Jacksonville State in five sets (17-25, 12-25, 25-19, 25-16, 17-15) to advance to the semifinals of the 2014 OVC Volleyball Championship. The Golden Eagles will face top-seeded Murray State on Friday at 7 p.m. CT. The match can be seen on the OVC Digital Network as well as ESPN3.
Cody Dodd led the Golden Eagles as she registered a double-dobule with a match-high 18 kills and 13 digs. Madison Keyes also hit double-digits in kills with 13. Courtney Smith paced the defense with 24. Sharon Anderson also recorded a double-double with 49 assists and 11 digs in the match.
The Gamecocks were led by Emily Rutherford as she recorded 16 kills and 17 digs. Allyson Zuhlke tallied 11 kills and 10 digs while Hannah Kirk led all players with 26 digs in the match. Jennifer Hart dished out 42 assists to go with 12 digs.
Jacksonville State finished the season with an 18-16 overall mark.
