MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Marcus Bridger-Wilkinson, Jr., Newbury, England - Belmont
Bridger-Wilkinson took second in the 1,500 meters at the Alabama Relays with a time of 3:44.98, setting a new school record. His time is first on the OVC best list and ranks fourth in the nation.

Co-FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Ericka Stam, Sr., Keller, Texas – Jacksonville State
Stam broke the school record in the 10,000 meters with a time of 37:02.05 to take first in the event at the Florida State Relays. Her time also ranks first in the OVC this year. It’s the second time this season she has set a new school mark. Last week at the Gamecock Quad meet, Stam broke JSU’s 5,000 meter record.
Amber Hughes, Fr., Atlanta, Ga. – Tennessee State
Hughes picked up four top five finishes last week at the Alabama relays. She finished third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.88 which ranks first in the OVC and third in the nation. She was also part of the 4x100 meter relay team that finished second (45.58) and the 4x400-meter relay that took third (3:44.40). Both of those times rank first in the league so far this year. Hughes was also a member of the 4x200-meter relay team that took third with a time of 1:37.87.

MALE FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Chris Navarro, Jr., Menifee, Calif. – Southeast Missouri
Navarro won the decathlon at the Alabama Relays by winning four events and placing in the top three in six events. He scored 6,577 points, 15 points ahead of second play. Navarro won the 110-meter hurdles, high jump, javelin throw and high jump to secure the victory.

Co-FEMALE FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Elizabeth Hampl, Jr., Troy, Ill. – SIUE
Hampl took first in the shot put at the Cougar Classic last week with a toss of 183.02”. The mark is first in the OVC this year while ranking 31
st nationally and 20
th in the West Region. She also took fifth in the shot put with a distance of 41’06” which is sixth in the league this season.
Clairwin Dameus, So., Boynton Beach, Fla. – Tennessee State
Dameus took second in the heptathlon with 5,283 points at the Alabama Relays. She was first in the long jump, 100-meter hurdles and the 200 meter dash. She earned third-place finishes in the javelin, high jump and the 800-meter run.
