Daniel helped Jacksonville State to victories over Auburn and Western Illinois over the weekend as he hit .500 (8-for-16) with five runs scored, three doubles, five RBI, a .688 slugging percentage and .500 on-base percentage. Had two hits and drove in a run to open the weekend in a 6-4 loss to Auburn. In the Gamecocks come-from-behind victory over Western Illinois on Saturday, he was 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBI. He capped the weekend with two hits and a RBI as JSU came back to top the host Tigers 10-9.

Last year’s OVC Co-Pitcher of the Year tallied his second victory of the 2015 season as he held Dayton to just one hit over 7.1 innings in Murray State’s 8-2 victory over Dayton on Friday in Emerson, Georgia. The senior had a no-hitter going until the eighth inning and left the game with a season-high 11 strikeouts against only three walks. It marked the second 10-plus strikeout game of his career. The only hit he allowed was a bleeder that hit right in front of the plate and weakly rolled down the foul line.
