Day One Results
Murray State won the smallbore with a score of 2340 on the first day of the 2017 Ohio Valley Conference Rifle Championship. Jacksonville State finished in second with 2299 points followed by Morehead State with 2296 points and UT Martin mixed team with 2281 points.
It marks the Racers third straight and 14
th overall smallbore crown. Murray State’s Mackenzie Martin won the individual title as she shot 589.
The teams will be back in action with air rifle competition tomorrow beginning at 9:45 a.m. CT at the Pat Spurgin Rifle Range on the campus of Murray State.
