Sarah Owusu, F, 5-4, R-Fr., Brampton, Ontario - Eastern Kentucky
Owusu scored three goals over Eastern Kentucky’s three wins last week. She netted the game-winner five minutes into the match with Ball State. She followed that up with a pair of scores in the victory over IUPUI. Owusu recorded five shots, including four on-goal.

Kacy Eckley, D, 5-7, Sr., Liberty Township, Ohio - Eastern Kentucky
Eckley never left the field over Eastern Kentucky’s three wins last week. With the Colonels trailing 1-0 at East Tennessee, she came forward to score a goal on a corner kick that helped EKU’s come-from-behind win. She led a defense that gave up just two goals in 270 minutes of action.

Zoe Aguirre, GK, 5-9, Fr., Cornoa, Calif. - Eastern Kentucky
Aguirre made her collegiate debut against East Tennessee, starting the second half. She held the Bucs scoreless and helped the Colonels to the comeback victory. She earned her first shutout versus Ball State, making five saves in the win. Aguirre made a pair of stops in the win over IUPUI. In 225 minutes of action, she gave up just one goal and made eight saves.

AUSTIN PEAY (3-0-0 overall, 0-0-0 OVC): Austin Peay defeated Alabama A&M, 4-0, last week. The Govs are off to their best start since 2010. Austin Peay is also on an 18-match unbeaten streak at home. Sophomore Claire Larose scored a pair of goals in a span of 14 minutes in the second half. Senior defender Renee Semaan played 70 minutes was part of a defense that picked up its third straight shutout of the season. Junior goalkeeper Mary Parker Powell played 72 minutes making two saves to pick up the win and the shutout. Austin Peay will hit the road this week as it travels to Little Rock on Friday and Mississippi State on Sunday.
BELMONT (0-3-0 overall, 0-0-0 OVC): Belmont fell at Western Carolina, 1-0, last week. Senior defender Sarah Bossung played all 90 minutes and was part of a defense that limited WCU to eight shots, three shots on goal and just one score. The Bruins return home this week as it hosts LIU Brooklyn on Sunday.
EASTERN ILLINOIS (0-2-1 overall, 0-0-0 OVC): Eastern Illinois fell at Milwaukee (3-0) and Green Bay (3-2) last week. Junior Sarah DeWolf and junior Kate Olson each found the back of the net against Green Bay. The Panthers will return home on Friday to face IUPUI before traveling to Chicago State on Sunday.
EASTERN KENTUCKY (3-1-0 overall, 0-0-0 OVC): Eastern Kentucky picked up a trio of wins last week, defeating East Tennessee State (3-1), Ball State (1-0) and IUPUI (3-1). Freshman Sarah Owusu scored three goals, including the game-winner versus Ball State just five minutes into the contest. She finished the week with five shots, including four on goal. Senior Kacy Eckley played all 270 minutes last week and was part of a defense that allow just to scores over the three wins. She also netted the game-tying score versus ETSU. Freshman goalkeeper Zoe Aguirre made her collegiate debut, starting the second half against ETSU. She held the Bucs scoreless and allowed the Colonels to earn the come back victory. For the week, she gave up just one goal and made eight saves in 225 minutes of action. Eastern Kentucky will travel to Marshall on Friday and Kentucky on Sunday.
JACKSONVILLE STATE (2-1-1 overall, 0-0-0 OVC): Jacksonville State fell to Georgia Southern, 1-0, and played to a scoreless draw with Georgia State. Freshman goalkeeper Morgan Lerch notched her second shutout of the season in the tie with Georgia State. She played 200 minutes, making two saves and giving up one goal. Jacksonville State will travel to North Alabama on Thursday.
MOREHEAD STATE (1-3-0 overall, 0-0-0 OVC): Morehead State dropped a pair of overtime contests last week, falling to Kentucky (2-1) and Ball State (1-0). Sophomore Katie Quinn scored the game-tying goal in the contest with Kentucky. It was the second goal of her career. Senior defender Makenna Lavatori provided the assist on Quinn’s score. Sophomore goalkeeper Eva Helgadottir made 17 saves, including 12 against Ball State. The Eagles will travel to Ohio State on Thursday before returning home to host Kennesaw State on Sunday.
MURRAY STATE (3-1-0 overall, 0-0-0 OVC): Murray State defeated IUPUI (3-0) before dropping its first match of the season to Ole Miss, 3-0. Junior Miyah Watford scored a pair of goals in the win over IUPUI, including the game-winner. It was her second game-winning score of the season. The Racers will host FAU on Friday.
SOUTHEAST MISSOURI (1-2-0 overall, 0-0-0 OVC): Southeast Missouri fell to Missouri State, 1-0, before defeating Illinois-Springfield, 3-0. Freshman Morgan McCourt scored a pair of goals in the win over Illinois-Springfield. She finished the week with nine shots, including three on goal. The Redhawks are celebrating its 20th season this year. Head coach Heather Nelson and associate head coach Paul Nelson have led the program since its inception in 1999. Southeast Missouri will travel to Tempe, Ariz. this weekend where it will face Arizona on Friday and Arizona State on Sunday.
SIUE (0-3-0 overall. 0-0-0 OVC): SIUE fell to Indiana State, 3-1 and Saint Louis, 4-0, last week. Freshman Amanda DiNardo scored the Cougars lone goal last week. SIUE will travel to Chicago State on Friday and Illinois on Sunday.
TENNESSEE TECH (2-2-0 overall, 0-0-0 OVC): Tennessee Tech defeated East Tennessee State, 2-1, before falling to North Alabama, 4-0, last week. Freshman Marta Moreno and senior Molly Kafader each scored a goal versus ETSU. Tennessee Tech will travel to Evansville on Friday and Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday.
UT MARTIN (2-1-0 overall, 0-0-0 OVC): UT Martin defeated Marshall, 3-1, and Jackson State, 10-0, last week. Sophomore Jaden Hildreth scored a hat trick in the win over Jackson State. She scored three goals on just five shots. She became the fourth player in UT Martin history to score three goals in a game. The 10 goals versus Jackson State was a program-high. Sophomore defender Kamryn Chappell was part of a defense that gave up just one goal in two matches. Senior goalkeeper Mackenzie Crawford made three saves and gave up just one goal in 159:40 of action. The Skyhawks will host Evansville on Wednesday before traveling to Tennessee on Sunday.
