TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - A pair of individuals represented the OVC at the 2019 NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country National Championship on Saturday. The event was held at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Indiana in cold, rainy and muddy conditions.

Kaleb McLeod finished 92nd overall while Eastern Kentucky freshman
Ezekiel Rop was 217th in the field of 249.
McLeod, competing in the event for the second-straight year, covered the 10K course in 31:56.3, which was 20 seconds and over 100 spots better than his performance a season ago. McLeod was fifth at the OVC Championship earlier in the month.
Rop, the OVC Athlete of the Year and OVC Athlete of the Championship, finished in a time of 33:34.6. His performance marked the 15th time in the past 16 years that EKU has had representation at the National Championship (either an individual or team).
