Darby Maggard was named the 2018-19 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year while Murray State's
Macey Turley was selected as the OVC Freshman of the Year as voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors. UT Martin's Emanye Robertson was tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Year while Coach of the Year honors went to Tennessee
Tech's Kim Rosamond.
Maggard, a native of Larwill, Ind. earns her first Player of the Year honor. The senior guard leads the league with 101 total three-pointers made and 3.5 makes per game. The first-team All-OVC selection set a new OVC mark for career three-pointers made and became just the fifth player in NCAA Division I history to surpass 400 career threes. Maggard has 418 made threes in her career heading into the OVC Championship. She also ranks 4th in the league with 17.4 points per game this season. She needs just 27 points to reach the 2,000 career points and would become the 19th OVC player to accomplish that feat. During conference play, Maggard recorded 19.4 points per game to rank second while ranking fourth with 4.3 assists each time out. She is the first Bruin to twin Player of the Year honors.
A native of Murray, Ky., leads all OVC freshman with 14.0 points per game in league action to rank 11 in the conference. She finished the regular-season averaging 13.1 points over 29 games played. Turley has reached double-digits in scoring in 17 games so far this season, including scoring a season-high 32 Southeast Missouri. The All-OVC second team and All-Newcomer selection dished out 127 assists to rank first on the team and fourth in the conference. Turley becomes the third Racers to earn Freshman of the Year honors joining Erika Sisk (2012-13) and Ke'Shunan James (2014-15).
Robertson, a senior guard from Memphis, Tenn., earns her first Defensive Player of the Year award. The All-OVC first team selection rank 25th in the nation with a league-leading 2.8 steals per game. She recorded a season-high six steals recently at Murray State. In OVC action, recorded 51 total steals. She also ranks second in the league with 4.8 assists per game and 139 total assists. She averaged a team-high 12.1 points in 29 games played. she has reached double-digits in points 18 times so far this year. It marks the fourth time a Skyhawk has earned the Defensive Player of the Year award. Robertson joins Jasmine Newsome who won the award three times.
Rosamond, who is in her third year at helm of Tennessee Tech, was named the OVC Coach of the Year, after leading her time to its first 20-win season since 2010-11. The Golden Eagles recorded 12 OVC wins which is the most since the 2010-11 season. The Golden Eagles rank in the top five in the conference in scoring offense, scoring defense, free throw percentage, blocked shots, assists and steals. Tennessee Tech finished the regular-season fourth after being predicted to place seventh. Rosamond is the fourth different Tennessee Tech coach to win the honor joining Marynell Meadows (1983-84) and Bill Worrell (1986-87, 1989-90, 1991-92, 1999-00) and Sytia Messer (2010-11).

A narive of Martinsville, Va., Crockett is third in the league with 18.3 points per game and ranks seventh in the OVC with a 49.5 FG%.
Juene, a native of Westamptoin, is sixth in the league with 16.6 points each time out and fourth with 2.4 three-pointers made per game.
A product of Johnson City, Tenn., Gregory is ninth in the OVC in scoring with 13.6 points over 29 games played while leading the league with a 88.7 free throw percentage.
Harmeyer, a native of Kenosha, Wis. is third in the conference with 9.1 rebounds per game while ranking fifth in scoring with 16.9 points each time out.
A native of Hazel Green, Ala., Pearson is averaging a double-double this season with 10.7 points and 10.1 rebounds. Her 10.1 rebounds per game is second in the league this year.
Adebayo, a product of London, England, ranks second in the league in points (18.4) while leading the conference in rebounds (11.5) this season.
A native of Memphis, Tenn., Thompson is first in the league with 18.5 points per game and is fifth with 2.0 steals each time out.
Brock, a native of Harlan, Ky., is third in the OVC with a 86.5 free throw percentage while also ranking 15th with 12.0 points per game.

Roy leads the league with 5.6 assists per game while Calvert has put up 12.7 points per game to rank 11th. Wooten is eighth in the league with 13.8 points per game while Perry is third in the OVC with 2.2 blocks each time out.
Making up the All-Newcomer Team with Turley, Adebayo and Jeune are Jacksonville State redshirt senior

Brittni Moore (Memphis, Tenn.)
Elliott ranks among league leaders with 11.1 points per game while Moore is first in the OVC with a 46.1 three-point field goal percentage.
