Belmont's Hendrick Inno and Rachel Papavasilopoulos were ranked first on the Ohio Valley Conference tennis preseason top 10 players list as voted on by the league's head coaches. Hendrick topped the men's list followed by Belmont's Marki Ilic, Tennessee Tech's Rafael Tosetto, Eastern Illinois' Freddie O'Brien, Jacksonville State's Joaquin Vallejo, Belmont's Felix Rauch, Tennessee Tech's Elias Grubert, Jacksonville State's Aljaz Kaplja, Tennessee Tech's Carlos Vicente and Jacksonville State's Guillermo Agost.
Papavasilopoulos earned the No. 1 spot on the women's side followed by Austin Peay's Fabienne Schmidt, Murray State's Jui Yun (Claire) Chang, Southeast Missouri's Romana Tarajova, Jacksonville State's Harriet Hamilton, Austin Peay's Danielle Morris, SIUE's Jill Lambrechts, Southeast Missouri's Kseniya Zonova, Murray State's Stasya Sharapova and Austin Peay's Martina Paladini-Jennings.
Inno earned his second straight OVC Player of the Year honor last year after going 12-7 overall and 4-1 in the OVC at the No. 1 singles spot. The senior teamed up with Marko Ilic to go 12-3 overall and 2-0 in league play at No. 1 doubles.
Papavasilopoulos, a junior, was named the 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the year after going 19-3 overall and 7-1 in league play at the No. 1 singles spot. She teamed up with Srishti Slaria to post a 13-2 overall mark and 4-1 OVC record at No. 1 doubles.
