Male Tennis Athlete of the Week
Marko Llic, Jr., Zagreb, Croatia – Belmont University
Llic went 4-0 in the past week. His wins featured a pair of singles and doubles victories over Chattanooga and UNC Asheville. He is a two-time All-OVC player, and he has reached a national ranking of No. 8 in doubles play this spring. Over the course of the week, he only dropped one total set.

Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week
Marit Kreugel, Fr., Vleuten, Netherlands – Murray State
Kreugel was able to remain undefeated in 2020. She opened the week with a No. 3 doubles win. She followed that win up with two victories at the No. 5 singles spot in a Murray States win over Missouri State on Friday. She would carry that momentum into the next match against South Dakota with another No. 3 doubles victory and a No. 5 singles win. After this past week’s performance Kruegel’s record improves to 12-0, posting a 6-0 record in both doubles and singles matches since the start of the 2020 campaign.
