In a collaborative effort the NCAA's 15 Division I FCS Conferences, a new episode
"FCS All-In" will premiere each
Saturday at 9am CT throughout the 2021 football season on YouTube (and will also be available on-demand).
Each conference will have a segment during the show, which will also feature national correspondents.
As a sneak preview, here is this week's OVC segment, which features Austin Peay graduate student linebacker
Jack McDonald.
McDonald came to Austin Peay as a walk-on tight end but after a position change has developed into an All-OVC linebacker. He made 118 tackles during the 2019 season (helping Austin Peay to the FCS Quarterfinals) and during the 2020-21 spring season, earned first-team All-OVC honors after making a team-high 70 tackles (including 9.0 for loss) in nine games.
Additionally he has excelled in the classroom, earning CoSIDA Academic All-District honors last season and this year being selected as a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy.
Make sure to subscribe to the
FCS All-In YouTube Channel, turn on notifications and check back each Saturday morning to see the OVC segment and the segments from the other FCS conferences.
The 2021 FCS Playoffs will feature 24 teams and the field will be announced on Sunday, November 21. Each of the playoff contests will air on the ESPN Family of Networks with the National Championship game to be held on Saturday, January 8 in Frisco, Texas.
