The presidents of all 10 member institutions of the Ohio Valley Conference are proud of our membership in the OVC and are unified and enthusiastic in our support of this historic, respected, and leading college athletic conference.
We are looking forward to a new year for our schools and a vibrant future for our communities as part of this conference. Our student-athletes come to our schools knowing that they have the opportunity to receive an outstanding education. They also know that they enter a competitive athletic environment with deep and treasured rivalries, providing them the chance to vie for championships and advance their athletic careers in front of caring and supportive communities.
In its approach and its operation, the OVC continues to deliver these opportunities with exceptional financial strength and operational integrity, a keen attention to the overall welfare of all our student-athletes, and leadership in academic, athletic, service, and social justice. It is a combination that continues to serve our institutions well.
The landscape of college athletics is changing, and we are more convinced that membership in the OVC positions all of our institutions for continued success in the future. As the OVC begins its 74th year with new coaches, exceptional competition, and the unique enthusiasm for our programs and our schools, we invite our fans across the region to join us in this athletic future, one that has provided and continues to provide exceptional benefits to all in our community.
