OVC Male Golfer of the Week

Isbell placed seventh in the field of 84 golfers at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate, hosted by Arkansas State at RidgePointe Country Club. In his third collegiate tournament, Isbell had rounds of 66-70-71 to finish at 207 (-9). He led the entire field in eagles (two) while ranking in the tournament’s top-eight in par-4 scoring (3.93, -2), par-5 scoring (4.42, -7) and pars (37). He added 11 birdies and only had four scores of bogey or worse. Isbell currently ranks seventh in the OVC in stroke average (70.6).

OVC Female Golfer of the Week
Tavia Burgess · Fr. · Mather, Calif. · Morehead State
Burgess registered her first collegiate top five finish by placing fifth out of 106 competitors at the Butler Fall Invitational held at the Highland Golf and Country Club. The freshman carded rounds of 75-70-70 to finish at 215 (+5). Her play helped Morehead State finish seventh in a field fo 17 teams, including two other OVC programs. Through eight rounds this year she ranks third in the OVC in scoring average (72.1).
