Co-Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
Daniela Hlacikova, Sr., Banska Bystrica, Slovakia – Southeast Missouri
Hlacikova won both matches on the week playing at No. 2 singles. Captured a 6-2, 6-1 decision to give the Redhawks their first singles point on the way to a 5-0 win over Luisiana-Monroe. Dropped the second set before rallying back to earn a 6-2, 2-6, 6-0 victory against Missouri State.

Stefaniya Anikina,
Fr., Karaganda, Kazakhstan – SIUE
Anikina won both matches in straight sets playing at No. 5 singles. Nearly helped lead the Cougars to a comeback against Illinois State with a 7-6, 6-2 decision. Earned the first singles point with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Northern Iowa.

Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Daniela Hlacikova (Sr., Banska Bystrica, Slovakia) & Juliette Talieu (Gr., Paris, France) – Southeast Missouri
Hlacikova and Talieu went 2-0 at No.1 doubles on the week. Notched the first win on the way to the Redhawks grabbing the doubles point in each match. Secured a 6-3 win over UL Monroe before grabbing a 6-1 decision over the pair from Missouri State.
