OVC Male Golfer of the Week

Lindahl took second place in a field of 85 competitors at the Lindenwood Invitational, held at the Missouri Bluff Golf Club. The freshman had rounds of 72-67-68 to finish at 207 (-6), which was two shots behind the medalist. His play helped the Lions win the team championship at its own event, as they topped the field by 15 shots. Lindhal currently ranks 18th in the OVC in stroke average (73.1).

OVC Female Golfer of the Week

Dawson earned the award for the second-straight week (and third time this season) after winning the SDSU Jackrabbit Invitational held at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The junior carded rounds of 70-72-66 to finish at 208, which was one shot ahead second place in the field of 76. She carded seven birdies and 10 pars during the final round, finishing with birdies on three of her final four holes. Her third-round score ties the Little Rock program record for lowest individual round and her three-round total also ties the top spot in program history (both marks are career-highs). The 54-hole team total (866) is also a new program record, topping the previous best by seven strokes. Her play helped Little Rock finish second in the 13-team field. Dawson leads the OVC with a 72.1 stroke average.
