Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
Aleyla Wooten, So., Lakeland, Tenn. – Eastern Illinois
Wooten won two matches at No. 2 singles, helping the Panthers earn their first win of the season. The sophomore improved to 3-0 at No. 2 singles with a 6-2, 6-3 win against Western Illinois and a 6-3, 6-1 victory over her opponent from Lindenwood.

Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Addison Brown (Sr., Evansville, Ind.) & Jemma Booth (So., Brisbane, Australia) – Eastern Illinois
Brown and Booth finished the week 2-0 playing at No. 1 doubles. The duo helped EIU post its first overall win of the season and first OVC win. The pair earned a 6-1 win over Western Illinois and a 6-1 decision over Lindenwood.
