Little Rock Women's Golf to Compete in NCAA Bryan Regional

The Little Rock women's golf team celebrated its first-ever NCAA selection Wednesday and will now move forward to prepare for the Bryan Regional, to be played at the Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas and hosted by Texas A&M University on May 6-8.
 
Little Rock earned an automatic bid by claiming the Ohio Valley Conference title – the program's first conference title in 25 years – and received the 12th seed in Bryan. The rest of the field includes (seeded in the following order):

Texas A&M
Clemson
Vanderbilt
SMU
Ohio State
Maryland
Iowa State
Texas State
Sam Houston
Sacred Heart
Little Rock
 
Little Rock was one of 27 schools to receive automatic qualification by winning its conference title. Regional play includes 396 participants and each of the six regional sites features 12 teams and six individuals.
 
The top five teams (30 teams total) and low individual not on an advancing team from each regional site advance to compete in the national championships on May 17-22 in Carlsbad, California.
