Two OVC players - Little Rock's
Hoss Brewer and Tennessee Tech's
Peyton Calitri - have been named to the 2024 Pitcher of the Year Watch List by the College Baseball Foundation.
Brewer has ppeared in 11 games this season and compiled a 4-4 record and 3.84 E.R.A. in 63.1 innings of work. Included in that is a complete game and a shared shutout. Brewer has struck out 81 batters and limited opponents to a .233 batting average.
Calitri is 7-1 with a 2.70 ERA in 70 innings this season. He has started 11 games and has a complete game and shared shutout on his resume. Calitri has struck out 70 batters while walking only nine batters.
