CHARLESTON, Ill. - The 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship continued on Friday at O'Brien Field on the campus of Eastern Illinois University.
Southeast Missouri's Clara Billing set a new OVC Outdoor Championships record in the pole vault by clearing 13' 05.5". That broke the previous record of 13'03.75" set by Austin Peay's Karlijn Schouten in 2021.
On the men's side Eastern Illinois leads with 82.5 points while Southeast Missouri is second with 66.5. Little Rock is third with 64 points and are followed by Western Illinois (34) and Tennessee State (26). SIUE and UT Martin are tied in sixth with 15 points while Lindenwood (7) and Southern Indiana (2) round out the scoring.
SEMO tops the women's standings with 71 points, ahead of Little Rock (58.5), Western Illinois (52), Eastern Illinois (43) and Lindenwood (20). Rounding out the field is Tennessee Tech (18.5), SIUE (16), Tennessee State (12), Southern Indiana (12), Morehead State (5) and UT Martin (4).
