Two OVC rifle student-athletes will be competing in the International Shooting Sport Federation's Junior World Championships in Lima, Peru.
Morehead State
Hayden Bell and Murray State's
Carlotta Salafia will compete in the event.
Bell, a junior from Bixby, Oklahoma, is one of 40 athletes on Team USA at the event. He will shoot Air Rifle. Bell is a two-time All-OVC performer in Air Rifle. He had season-highs of 588 in AR four times last season. Academically, Bell has earned Academic All-District from the College Sports Communicators and multiple Scholastic All-American honors from the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association.
Salafia will be representing her home nation of Italy. She is a freshman with the Murray State program.
