SOUTHERN INDIANA 1, EASTERN ILLINOIS 1
CHARLESTON, Ill. - Eastern Illinois remained undefeated in the Ohio Valley Conference, but the Panthers streak of consecutive shutouts came to an end with a 1-1 draw against Southern Indiana on Thursday afternoon at Lakeside Field.
 
Both teams were able to find the net in the second half as EIU moved to 7-4-3 overall, 4-0-1 in the OVC.  USI moved to 5-5-4 on the year, 2-0-3 in the OVC.
 
USI keeper Anna Markland finished with two saves while EIU keeper Ella Kratochvil made one.   EIU had its streak of six consecutive shutouts come to an end during the match, the total was tied for the second most in OVC history.
 
EIU scored first in the contest with Alex Tetteh scoring her seventh goal of the season knocking home a loose ball in the middle of scrum in front of the USI net just four minutes into the second half.
 
USI countered in the 55th minute as Peyton Murphy directed a pass from Emerson Grafton into the net from the right corner of the goal box. 
 
Murphy had three of the Screaming Eagles eight shots in the match.   EIU was balanced with six total shots.  Amelia Mundo and Amanda Pankiewicz had the Panthers shots on goal.

TENNESSEE TECH 4, MOREHEAD STATE 1
MOREHEAD, Ky. 
- In a match that featured its fair share of historical significance, the Tennessee Tech soccer team remained unbeaten in OVC play and extended its winning streak to a season-long three straight in a 4-1 victory at Morehead State Thursday afternoon.

The offensive outburst marked the first time in program history the Golden Eagles have scored at least four goals in three consecutive contests following a 6-1 victory over Western Illinois on Sept. 28 and a 4-1 triumph at Lindenwood on Sunday. The 14 goals are also the most over a three-match stretch in program history.

Tech (3-6-6, 3-0-2 OVC) did a bulk of the damage in the second half, finding the back of the net three times after intermission following a Lucia Cuadra goal in the 21st minute gave the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead at the break. Cuadra's fourth goal of the year was made possible on a Tori Soutuyo cross that gave Soutuyo an assist on the play.

Katie Toney opened the scoring in the second stanza with a goal in the 62nd minute that pushed Tech's edge to 2-0.  The McMinnville, Tenn. native capitalized on a Cuadra through ball for her second goal of the season. Cuadra's assist was the first of two on the day after the Barcelona, Spain product aided Tech's third goal in the 72nd minute to cap off a four-point showing for Cuadra.

Morehead State (3-11-0, 1-4-0 OVC) had cut Tech's lead in half behind a Lily Burt goal in the 69th minute, but Reagan Smiley immediately gave the Golden Eagles their two-goal lead right back with her second score of the season.

Natalie Howard, who split the pipes twice on Sunday in the win at Lindenwood, put the finishing touches on Tech's offensive showcase with her club-leading fifth goal of the year in the 82nd minute. The sophomore forward collected a feed from Cheyenne McCloud before blasting one home from the right side of the box to move the Golden Eagle edge to 4-1. McCloud secured her third assist of the season on the pass.

The Golden Eagles made the most of their opportunities with four goals on 13 shots, nine of which were on-frame. Howard pace the club with three shots.

Morehead State smacked 14 attempts, seven of which were on-goal. Jade Walton led the match with five total tries.

Maggie Conrad's six saves were the most in an OVC match this season for Tech's senior keeper. Claire Cress picked up five stops across the way in just over 82 minutes of action. Sofia Rodriguez did not have to make a save in over seven minutes of work.

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI 5, WESTERN ILLINOIS 0
MACOMB, Ill. 
- Southeast Mo. St. (2-11-1, 2-2-1) shut out Western Ill. (1-14-0, 0-5-0) in a decisive 5-0 victory at John MacKenzie Alumni Field, with Southeast Mo. St. scoring three goals in the first half.

Southeast Missouri State (2-11-1, 2-2-1 OVC) established early control over Western Illinois (1-14-0, 0-5-0), converting three goals in the first half to lead 3-0 at the break. Hayley Hogenmiller opened the scoring with a goal in the 29th minute following a corner kick and added a second in the 42nd minute. Riley Henderson extended the lead with a goal in the 44th minute, capitalizing on a series of well-timed corner kicks and effective offensive positioning. Despite Western Illinois' attempts, goalkeeper Madison Geisler recorded multiple saves, maintaining a clean sheet through the period.

Southeast Missouri State extended their lead early in the second half when Melissa Kubin found the back of the net just one second after play resumed. Later, in the 67th minute, Navi Washington, assisted by Carson Bohnenstiehl, added another goal to secure a 5-0 advantage. Western Illinois struggled with offside calls, recording three in the half and managed only two shots, both failing to score. The period ended with Southeast Missouri State leading 5-0.

Madison Geisler recorded a shutout with four saves. Washington scored one goal on her only shot attempt. Zerina Markovic led the team with four shots, including one on goal. Hogenmiller contributed two goals, one of which was the game-winner.

LITTLE ROCK 1, UT MARTIN 0
MARTIN, Tenn. 
- The Trojans battled to a 1-0 victory over UT Martin on Thursday night, remaining unbeaten in OVC play and improving to 4-3-5 overall (2-0-3 OVC). Junior forward Maggie Turner provided the difference-maker, scoring her fifth goal of the season in the 19th minute, while goalkeeper Peyton Urban recorded 10 saves in another standout performance.

The game was a physical, back-and-forth battle in Martin, Tennessee. The Trojans broke through early when Turner capitalized on a loose ball in the box, slotting it past the Skyhawk keeper to put Little Rock ahead. The team was forced to play a player down after a red card in the 36th minute, but the defense held firm. Urban anchored the back line with 10 saves on 20 total shots faced, supported by key defensive efforts from Mary Ratcliff and Kaylee Cuff.

Maggie Turner's goal marked her fifth of the season and third game-winner, while Urban's 10 saves highlight another impressive defensive showing. The Trojans' back line showed depth and composure to earn the clean sheet despite the adversity.

LINDENWOOD 0, SIUE 0
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. 
- SIUE women's soccer and Lindenwood battled to a 0-0 tie Thursday in Ohio Valley Conference play at Korte Stadium.

SIUE, 2-9-3 overall and 1-2-2 in the OVC, next faces Southern Indiana in a 1 p.m. Sunday in Evansville, Indiana.

Lindenwood is now 5-4-4 for the season with a 2-2-1 record in league play.

Sarah Bozeman recorded her second shutout of the season for the Cougars with three saves, including one in the waning seconds of the contest. Caroline Ritter had one save on the other side of the field for the Lions.

SIUE collected eight shots, including on off the post. Savannah DeFini led SIUE with four shots while Zoe Bumiller added a pair.

Anna Johnson powered the Lions' offense with six shots.
