OVC Players of the Week

OFFENSE
Maria Schuller, F, 5-6, So., Little Rock, Ark. – Little Rock
Schuller delivered two game-winning goals as Little Rock jumped into a tie for first place in the OVC standings. The sophomore netted the Trojans’ lone goal in the 33rd minute to defeat Eastern Illinois. She led the Trojans to a win over Western Illinois by opening the scoring in a 3-0 win.

DEFENSE
Claire Palya, D/MF, 5-10, R-Jr., Knoxville, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech
Palya played all 180 minutes for the Golden Eagles as they earned two shutout wins to jump into a tie for first in the OVC standings. The redshirt-junior anchored a Tech defense, allowing eight shots over two matches, highlighted by a season-low two total attempts in Sunday’s 1-0 win at Southeast Missouri.

GOALKEEPER
Sarah Bozeman, GK, 5-7, Jr., O’Fallon, Mo. – SIUE
Bozeman collected 12 saves on the week and produced two clean sheets. The junior lowered her season goals against average to 0.77 in OVC play. She has four shutouts on the season and 84 saves.
