- The Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles (2-2) rolled to an 86-64 win over Berea (1-1) on Thursday night at Eblen Center. 

Tech improved to 2-2 with the win and has two straight at home with victories of Virginia Lynchburg (118-58) and Berea (86-64) in the past five days. Mekhi Cameron was one of five Golden Eagles in double figures, leading the team with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field, 5 of those six shots from three-point range.

JaJuan Nicholls was second on the team with 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting and second on the team in rebounds with six. C.J. McPherson was raining three-balls all game, shooting 4-of-10 from long distance for 12 points in 24 minutes played.

Dani Pounds added 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting, including a plethora of thunderous dunks, to help Tech set the tone. Bandon Muntu finished with 10 points on 3-of-9 from the field, 2-of-8 from beyond the arc.

The Golden Eagles scored two points above their points per game average with 86 points (84.3 per game) on 44.4 percent from the field (28-63). The home team outrebounded Berea 42-34 and had 24 points from the bench alongside 26 points in the paint, and 23 points off 19 turnovers.
