PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

OFFENSIVE
M.E. Hargan, OH, Sr., 6-1, Elizabethtown, Ky. - Morehead State
Hargan averaged 5.50 kills and 5.83 points/set in the Eagles two matches against UT Martin, posting her 33rd and 34th double-double of her career. The senior opened the series with 14 kills hitting .370. She finished the week with 19 kills in 33 attacks with no errors, posting a career-high .576 hitting percentage. Hargan leads the OVC in kills and points.
 
Ashby Willis, Jr., OH, Mount Carmel, Ill. – Southern Indiana
Willis led the Eagles in kills in the series at Western Illinois with 36 kills (4.5/set), along with 37 digs and tallied double-doubles in both wins. The junior added 11 kills and 13 digs. In game two she recorded a career-high 25 kills, hitting a .303 percent with just five errors.

DEFENSIVE
Holland Guilliams, DS/L, So., Jackson, Mo. – Southeast Missouri
Guilliams played all seven sets on the week, including making a start at libero in the finale. The sophomore recorded 50 digs (7.14/set), including a career high 30 digs in the first game at SIUE.

SETTER
Sydney Sennett, S, Jr., 6-0, Normal, Ill. – Morehead State
Sennett posted back-to-back 30-plus assist performances in Morehead State’s sweep over UT Martin. The junior posted 36 helpers in the series opener and followed with 38 assists in the season finale. She notched 74 assists, leading the Eagle offense to a .365 attack percentage.
 
Aysa Thomas, S, Fr., 5-9, Brownsburg, Ind. – Southern Indiana
Thomas collected 84 assists, 31 digs, and six kills in the series sweep at WIU. The freshman dished out 28 assists and 11 digs to mark her 20th double-double this season. She registered a career-high 56 assists in the second win, along with 20 digs.

FRESHMAN
Carley Wright, RS, Fr. North Richland Hills, Texas – Southern Indiana
Wright had 26 kills, 10 digs, and three blocks in a pair of wins at Western Illinois. The freshman led USI with 11 kills and just two errors, recording a .391 hitting percentage with seven digs in the opener. She tallied 15 kills with three digs and a solo block in the finale.
