PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mia Nicastro, F, Sr., 6-2, St. Charles, Mo. – Western Illinois
Nicastro averaged 28.0 points and 13.0 rebounds/game while leading Western Illinois to a pair of wins on the week. The senior posted career-highs with 33 points and 17 rebounds against Chicago State. She followed with a 23-point, nine rebound performance versus Bradley, just missing her third consecutive double-double. Nicastro is second in the nation averaging 26.3 points/game, second to Notre Dame’s Hannah Hidalgo (27.0), and 10th in rebounds/game (11.3). For the week, she shot 60-percent (21-35) from the field and 93-percent (14-15) from the line.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK
Jones scored in double figures in both contests leading the Lions to a pair of wins. in the past week. The graduate had 16 points on 7-of 12 shooting and followed with 10 points against Omaha. She averaged 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals/game.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Miller totaled 17 points (8.5/game) and seven rebounds (3.5/game) helping SIUE to a split on the week. The freshman added five assists and a steal. She helped the Cougars in a win over Indiana State with eight points, four rebounds, four assists and a steal. This marks her second straight honor.
