OVC Male Golfer of the Week

Smith finished tied for sixth out of 91 competitors at The Duck Invitational hosted by Oregon at the Eugene Country Club. The senior had rounds of 70-68-70 to finish at 208 (-5), which was five shots behind the medalist. The field included eight players ranked in the Top 150 nationally. His played helped Little Rock finish fourth out of 15 teams in the field. Smith currently ranks in the Top 150 nationally, while his 71.3 stroke average ranks third in the OVC.

OVC Female Golfer of the Week

Burgess earned her second OVC Golfer of the Week award of the season after carding rounds of 78-70-77 to finish at 225 (+9) at The Nashville Invitational held at the Herimtage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee. The freshman finished tied for 16th in a field of 91 competitors. It marked the seventh time in nine events this season she has paced the MSU squad. Burgess currently ranks fourth in the OVC in stroke average (73.6).
