OVC Male Golfer of the Week

Turnell took medalist honors at The Goodwin, hosted by Stanford University. The field included 30 total teams (13 ranked in the Top 50 nationally) and 164 competitors, 30 of who were ranked in the Top 150 nationally. The freshman had rounds of 69-70-66 to finish at 205 (-5), making him one of five players who shared the title. He was 4-under on the final nine holes of the event; he had an eagle and four birdies during the final round. It marks the third time this spring that Turnell has been named OVC Golfer of the Week. Turnell currently ranks fourth in the OVC in stroke average (71.5).

OVC Female Golfer of the Week

Burgess tied for second in a field of 89 at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge held at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. The freshman had rounds of 67-71-71 to finish at 209, which was one shot behind the medalist. She ranked tied for second in the field in par five scoring (4.67) for the week. It marks the second-straight week (and third time overall) she has earned the award. Burgess currently ranks tied for third in the OVC in stroke average (73.2).
