Turnell finished tied for fourth in a field of 78 (including seven nationally-ranked players) at the 40th annual Louisiana Classics, held at the Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette, Louisiana. The freshman had rounds of 72-71-68 to finish at 211 (-5), which was four shots behind the medalist. His play helped Little Rock, which entered the event ranked 38th nationally, finish fourth. It marked his second OVC Golfer of the Week award of the spring season, and his second Top 5 finish of the year. He is currently tied for fifth in the OVC in stroke average (71.8).

OVC Female Golfer of the Week

Playing in two events in a week's span, Aernouts finished fifth out of 92 competitors at the Jackrabbit Invitational after competing at the Puerto Rico Shootout. At the Jackrabbit Invitational, held in Boulder City, Nevada, the sophomore had rounds of 72-74-72 to finish at 218 (+2). That was just five shots behind the medalist. To begin the week in Puerto Rico, she had rounds of 73-79 to finish at 152 (+8). She leads all current active OVC players in stroke average this season (72.6).
