EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Bryant University claimed the 2025 OVC Women's Tennis championship in its inaugural season in the conference. The Bulldogs claimed a 4-2 decision over top seeded Southeast Missouri.

The final pairing of the Championship was played indoors at the YMCA Edwardsville due to overnight and continual thuderstorms in the St. Louis area.

Bryant returns to the NCAA tournament after an appearance in 2022.

This year marked the 49th time the women's championship has been contested (it was first held in 1977).

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The Bryant University women's tennis team clinched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament, winning the Ohio Valley Conference Championship with an impressive 4-2 win over Southeast Missouri Saturday afternoon.

The Black and Gold are on their way to Bryant's first NCAA tournament appearance since 2022, and the program's third appearance since going DI.  

The Bulldogs were trailing the Redhawks following doubles play with the sole Bryant win coming from Natalia Vela and Maria Jose Hernandez Diaz. Bouncing back in singles play, Bryant successfully clinched the win after victories from Yahli Noy, Aurora Pedwell, Natalia Vela, and Maria Jose Hernandez Diaz, who sealed the deal.
