The 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship starts today at Abe Stuber Track Complex on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University. This year marks the 71st overall men's outdoor championship (first held in 1949) and the 45th overall women's outdoor championship (first held in 1979). Little Rock claimed the men's title, while Southeast Missouri secured the women’s title in 2024. The Trojans earned its 1st Championship, while the Redhawk's team secured its 13th title.
The meet begins at 9:00 a.m. with the first four events of the Heptathlon and the first five events of the Decathlon starting at 9:30 a.m. The field events start at 12:30 p.m. with the first medals being awarded in the women’s hammer and pole vault, as well as the men’s pole vault and hammer.
The running events begin at 5:00 p.m. and will conclude with the finals in the men’s and women’s 10,000-meter run.
