Little Rock to Play in Baton Rouge Regional of NCAA Baseball Championship

Little Rock is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011 after winning its first OVC Tournament Championship.
 
Little Rock (24-32) will travel to the NCAA Regional in Baton Rouge, Louisiana The Trojans are the No.4 seed along with host (and No. 6 national seed) LSU (43-14, No. 2 seed Dallas Baptist (40-16) and No. 3 Rhode Island (38-20)
 
After struggling to end the regular season and earning the final spot in the OVC Tournament field on a tiebreaker, Little Rock caught fire in the OVC Tournament, going a perfect 5-0 to claim its first crown in its third year as a member of the Conference.  It marked the first time since 2011 the team had been in the NCAA Regionals.

As the No. 8 seed, the Trojans became the lowest seed to ever win the OVC Tournament (the previous had been No. 5).
