Morehead State Women's Golf in Seventh After Round One of NCAA Regionals

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. - The Morehead State women's team is in seventh place after round one of the 2025 NCAA Lexington Regional of the Women's Golf Championship.

The event is being held at the Keene Trace Golf Club from May 5-7. The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to compete in the national championships to be played May 16-21

The Eagles combined to shoot +6, which is just two shots behind No. 15 TCU and one shot behind No. 46 ranked Louisville.

MSU is ahead of five other teams, including No. 22 Vanderbilt and No. 40 Pepperdine.

Individually Tuva Isebakke, the OVC Player of the Year, Hanna Montgomery and Tavia Burgess, the OVC Freshman of the Year, each had one over round of 73 and are tied for 19th. They are just two shots out of hte Top 10 overall.

Morehead State will tee off beginning at 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday.
