OVC Players of the Week

OFFENSE
Eva Boer, F, 5-9, R-So., St. Charles, Ill. – Southern Indiana
Boer broke the scoreless drought to start the season for USI in Sunday’s road contest at Akron. The redshirt-sophomore headed a ball into the net for the Screaming Eagles first goal of the season. The forward tallied four shots with two on goal at Akron. For the week, Boer had five shots total and played 125 minutes between USI’s two road games at Robert Morris and Akron.

DEFENSE
Parker Gelinas, D, 5-5, Gr., Germantown, Tenn. – UT Martin
Gelinas played on a back line that allowed no goals over two matches, resulting in two consecutive shutouts. The graduate student played all 180 minutes, leading a UTM defense that allowed just 10 shots on goal on the week, with six against North Alabama and four against Austin Peay.

GOALKEEPER
Mac Titus, GK, 5-10, R-Sr., Chelsea, Ala. – UT Martin
Titus played the full 180 minutes over two matches and came up with two clean sheets. Titus saved all 10 shots she faced on the week, with six against North Alabama and four against Austin Peay.
