Morehead State's Hargan Named Academic All-America

Morehead State’s M.E. Hargan has been honored by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) academic awards program as a third-team Academic All-America.

She is the 319th OVC student-athlete to earn Academic All-America honors since the program began in the 1970s.
 
The long-running program honors student-athletes who excel on the court and who have maintained at least a 3.50 grade point average.

The senior posted a 3.88 in veterinary science. Hargan earned OVC Player of the Year honors this season, was a three-time All-OVC first team selection and was named Honorable Mention All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Hargan led the Ohio Valley Conference with 493 kills this season, averaging 4.61 kills per set ranking 16th in the country in NCAA Division I. Her 569 points (5.32 points per set average) ranked 11th in the country.
