Erickson scored with 37 seconds remaining in the contest to move EIU to 5-6-3 overall, 3-2 in the OVC.

After playing to a scoreless draw for the first 89 minutes, Alex Tetteh drove the ball down the left side of the field on the attack.  Once stopped she crossed the ball all the way across the goal mouth to find Erickson who sent the shot into the net for the winner.

EIU had 17 total shots in the match but just five on target with Amara Leppla (2), Abby Reinl and Adison Welsh providing the other shots on goal.

LINDENWOOD 2, SOUTHEAST MISSOURI 0
CAPE GIRARADEAU, Mo.
- The Lindenwood women's soccer team (7-6-2, 3-2-0 OVC) earned a big result at Southeast Missouri (4-7-4, 3-1-1 OVC) on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Redhawks 2-0 behind a pair of goals by Mackenzie Compton.

Compton's first goal of the day came on a corner kick in the 29th minute, with Anna Johnson delivering a great ball into the middle of the box that the junior forward was able to track and redirect with a header into the back of the net.

Compton completed the brace less than a minute into the second half, beating a group of SEMO defenders to a long pass lobbed into the box by Alysse Lamb and using her head to nudge the ball past the goalkeeper, doubling the lead.

Lindenwood finished the match with the upper hand in shots (12-9) and shots on goal (6-5) while drawing six corner kick opportunities compared to Southeast Missouri's four.

Goalkeeper Lauren Hale turned in her second consecutive clean sheet, making a season-high five saves in her second career start.

UT MARTIN 2, WESTERN ILLINOIS 0
MACOMB, Ill.
- The University of Tennessee at Martin soccer team shut out Western Illinois and had goals from Unni Wolf and Addy McCleary as they cruised to a 2-0 win over the Leathernecks Sunday at John MacKenzie Alumni Field in Macomb.

The Skyhawks got on the board early when Peyton Cook sent a pass from the left side of the goal, trapped by Alex Weihs and flicked to Wolf to make it 1-0 in the 5th minute.

In the 34th minute, Nasti Tanninen rocketed a ball from the UT Martin third to Weihs in the attacking third. Weihs took the ball, beat her defender, fired to the far-left post, where McCleary tapped it past the keeper to make it 2-0.

The UT Martin defense and goalkeeper Mac Titus claimed their seventh shutout of the season by limiting the Leathernecks to eight total shots and three shots on goal. For Titus, the seven shutouts tie the school record for most in a season, a record she now shares with Cara Sullivan (2006), Lauren MacKenzie (2010), Mariah Klenke (2013), and herself (2025).
