PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mia Nicastro, F, Sr., 6-2, St. Charles, Mo. – Western Illinois
Nicastro wrapped up the regular season leading the Leathernecks with 63 points, 18 rebounds, two assists, and six steals. The senior opened with 36 points, one shy of her career high, five rebounds and five steals in a win at SIUE. She followed with her 14th double-double of the season, scoring 27 points and pulling down 13 boards.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK
Laura Toffali, G, Sr., 5-9, Villasanta, Italy – Morehead State
Toffali scored 15 points in Morehead State’s win over Southern Indiana last Tuesday. She tied for team highs with six rebounds and picked a game-high five steals. The senior notched a career-high 32 points on 11-of-21 shooting from the floor, including 3-of-6 from three-point range at Little Rock. Toffali pulled down seven rebounds and recorded another five thefts giving her 94 on the season, one shy of the program season record.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Kiyoko Proctor, G, Fr., 5-6, Alton, Ill. – SIUE
Proctor averaged 21.5 points/game over the final two regular-season contests. She scored 24 points against Western Illinois and added 19 against Eastern Illinois, shooting 45 percent from the field. The freshman knocked down six three-pointers, dished out six assists, and played more than 35 minutes per game.
