PLAYER
Payton Brown, IF/UT, Jr., 5-5, Taylor Ridge, Ill. – Western Illinois
Brown hit three home runs to help the Leathernecks win a conference series against Tennessee Tech. Her three-run blast in the sixth inning of game two completed the comeback, giving WIU the 7-6 victory. The junior had seven RBI on the weekend to go along with two walks for a .545 on base percentage.

CO-PITCHER
Ryleigh Owens, P, Sr., 5-6, Edwardsville, Ill. – Lindenwood
Owens recorded a 0.84 ERA with two wins and a save to lead Lindenwood to a conference sweep at Tennessee State. The senior picked earned the save in the opener after striking out two batters while stranding runners on second and third with one out. She followed with a complete game win, allowing one run on two hits and fanning two. Owens closed out the week pitching the final 2.1 innings to earn win.
 
Ainsley Stubbs, P, Jr., 5-9, Columbia, Mo. – Morehead State
Stubbs finished 2-0 on the week with a 0.64 ERA, leading Morehead State to a series win at Southern Indiana. The junior earned the win in game one, pitching four innings while allowing one run on five hits with two strikeouts and four walks. She picked up her second win, working the final 3.1 scoreless innings in game two, entering with two outs in the fourth surrendering two hits and two walks. Owens pitched the final three and two-third innings, yielding three hits and held opponents to a .238 batting average.
