Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
Elena Palioura, sophomore, Thessaloniki, Greece – SIUE
Palioura won a pair of conference matches at No. 2 singles helping SIUE to remain undefeated. The sophomore completed a three-set victory over her opponent from Lidnenwood, 7-6, 1-6, 10-4. She followed with another three-set victory against Southern Indiana, 6-1, 4-6, 6-3. This marks the third singles honor this season.

Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Elena Palioura (So., Thessaloniki, Greece) & Cydney Rogers (Sr., Jonesboro, Ark) – SIUE
Palioura & Rogers earned a pair of victories at No. 2 doubles, increasing their streak to five in a row. The duo defeated the pair from Lindenwood, 6-4, and the team from Southern Indiana, 6-1.to help Lindenwood remain undefeated in OVC play.
