The countdown to the start of the 2026 season will include a look at all eight OVC football teams with content from the OVC Football Media Day presented by

Tennessee State begins its second year under head coach Reggie Barlow. Barlow's team had 14 total players on the OVC Preseason Players to Watch List.
The Tigers will open the 2026 season on Saturday, August 29 when they host Jackson State in the annual John Merritt Classic.
