2014 OVC Softball Championship
The 2014 OVC Softball Championship was held May 7-10 on the campus of Jacksonville State. It marked the 21st time the Championship has been held and second year it featured eight teams (2013 marked the first with an expanded eight-team field).
This season SIUE won its first OVC Championship by topping Murray State in the title game. It marked the first SIUE team to earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament in its Division I era.
