Complete Mid-Major All-Decade Team

Two former Ohio Valley Conference players were among the 26 players selected to the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major All-Decade Team. Former UT Martin guard Lester Hudson and former Eastern Illinois forward Henry Domercant were on the squad released recently.

Hudson (2007-09) was a two-time All-American and OVC Player of the Year at UT Martin and became the first Division I men’s player to record a quadruple-double in a game (25 points, 12 rebounds, 10 steals and 10 assists against Central Baptist College on Nov. 13, 2008).
Hudson led the UT Martin men's basketball team to its first OVC regular season championship in 2009 and a berth in the NIT. He was the nation's second leading scorer (behind Stephen Curry) and drafted by the Boston Celtics with their only pick of the draft.

Domercant was one of the nation's most prolific scorers during his EIU career from 2000-03.  Three times he ranked among the nation's top five scorers including ranking second in the country in 2002 and 2003.  He became only one of 11 players ever to rank in the top five in scoring for three seasons at the NCAA Division I level. A 2002 All-American, Domercant finished his career as the OVC and EIU career scoring leader with 2,602 points.  That total currently ranks 30th on the NCAA Division I all-time list and fourth among players in the state of Illinois.  He was the 2002 OVC Player of the Year and holds 15 EIU single season or career scoring records.  In 2001 he teamed with Kyle Hill to help lead the Panthers to the NCAA Tournament.

Division I coaches and NBA scouts were part of the selection process but the final decision was made by the CollegeInsider.com staff.
