The No. 4 seed Golden Eagles (19-12) will face off with No. 1 seed Murray State on Friday night (6pm, ESPNU/ESPN3). Last year the Golden Eagles upset the regular season champion Racers in the OVC Tournament semifinals. Swansey also dished out a game-high 12 assists to pace the TTU squad. Senior Kevin Murphy pulled closer to the 2,000-point career plateau by scored 24 points on 10-of-20 shooting. Murphy needs just 19 more points to become the 16th player in OVC history to score 2,000 points in a career. Southeast Missouri (15-16) trailed by 9 points with 13:36 to play but used a 32-9 run to grab a 70-66 lead with 2:13 to play. The Redhawks connected on 7-of-10 (70%) 3-pointers in the second half. Tyler Stone had 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead Southeast Missouri. #3 MOREHEAD STATE 68, #7 JACKSONVILLE STATE 54 NASHVILLE - No. 3 seed Morehead State broke open a game that was just two points at halftime and went on to eliminate No. 7 seed Jacksonville State 68-54 on Thursday at the OVC Championship. The Eagles (18-14), the defending tournament champions, got 18 points from freshman Angelo Warner while sophomore Drew Kelly added 12 points. Jacksonville State was led by Ronnie Boggs and Tarvin Gaines who contribued 12 points apiece. The Gamecocks (15-18) hit just 3-of-21 (14.3%) from 3-point range on the game while the Eagles were 3-of-11 (27.3%).
