Baseball Championship Central
The Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Championship will be held next week (May 23-27) at Pringles Park in Jackson, Tenn.
This marks the third year in a row the event has been held at Pringles Park, which is the home of the Jackson Generals, the AA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. This year the six-team, double-elimination tournament marks the 34th OVC Baseball Championship.
All tickets for the event are general admission and are $10 per day or $30 for an all-session ticket. OVC students and faculty with valid ID's can purchase tickets for $8 per day or $25 for an all-session ticket.
Parking for the OVC Baseball Championship is free.

Pringles Park opened in 1998 and has a seating capacity of 6,000. The venue hosted the 1999 and 2011 Southern League All-Star Games. Pringles Park also has luxury suites, a video board and merchandise shop that will be used for the championship. Jackson, Tenn. is located 130 miles from Nashville and 77.2 miles from Memphis on Interstate 40.
