MALE TRACK ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
Braxton Klavins, Jr., Lake Zurich, Ill. - SIUE
Klavins was the top collegiate finisher in the 400 meters at the Holiday Inn Invitational. He finished second overall with a time of 47.70. The mark is the 15
th fastest in the nation this year and also ranks first on the OVC best list.

FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Maikea Davis, Jr., Albany, Ga. – Austin Peay
Davis has broken the 200-meter indoor record three times in just three meets since transferring to Austin Peay, including twice at the Niswonger Invitational over the weekend. She qualified third in the 200 meters with a 24.82 mark and lowered the record in the final with a 24.57 run. Her mark currently ranks first in the OVC this year

MALE FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Peter Geraghty, R-Sr., Oak Hill, Ill. – Eastern Illinois
Geraghty picked up the lone first place finish for Eastern Illinois at the Illini Classic over the weekend as he became the third EIU men’s pole vaulter to clear the 17’ mark for their career. Geraghty won the event with a height of 17’06.50” which ranks second on the EIU career list. It also is the top mark in the OVC this year.
Royce Dates, Sr., Memphis, Tenn. – Tennessee State
Dates recorded a season best in the long jump at the Niswonger Invitational. He took first place with a leap of 24’07.25”. The jump is first on the OVC best list.

FEMALE FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Jatavia Wright, Jr., Miami, Fla. - SIUE
Wright earned first-place honors and broke the SIUE school record in the triple jump at the Holiday Inn Invitational over the weekend. She won the even with a jump of 41’03.00” which ranks first in the OVC this season. She now holds indoor school records in the long jump, triple jump, 60-meter hurdles and pentathlon.
