Throughout the summer the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) will be releasing preseason watch lists for players in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The list highlights players whose performance merits recognition heading into the 2014 season.
The purpose of the CFPA is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. All CFPA recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams. All players are eligible for awards at their respective positions; players are not preemptively eliminated from consideration.
The watch lists include the following categories: quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, defensive line, linebacker, defensive back, placekicker, punter, all-purpose/kickoff returner and punt returner.
The four lists involving specialist positions have been released and the lists include 10 total players from the Ohio Valley Conference.
The place kicker list included Eastern Kentucky senior
Andrew Lloyd and UT Martin junior
Jackson Redditt.
The punters list included Austin Peay senior
Ben Campbell, Jacksonville State junior

Telvin Brown.
Overall four OVC players made the punt returners list, including Eastern Illinois junior
