Murray State defeated Southeast Missouri, 1-0, in overtime to win the 2015 OVC Soccer Championship. With the win the Racers earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. They will find out who they will play tomorrow during the selection show at 3:30 p.m. The selection show will be streamed on NCAA.com.
Taylor Richerson scored the game-winning goal for the Racers with under a minute to play in the first over time. It was her eighth goal of the season.
Southeast Missouri was led by Natasha Minor who recorded a pair of shots in the match. Redhawks goalkeeper made a match-high six saves, giving up just one goal.
Murray State's Alex Steigerwald made three stops to earn the shutout.
