WOFFORD 96, AUSTIN PEAY 77
SPARTANBURG, S.C.
- Despite 28 points for junior Josh Robinson, Austin Peay State University will not be sorry to see this three-game road trip come to an end after falling 96-77 to Wofford at Benjamin Johnson Arena, Thursday.

The Governors shot well (13-for-24, 54.2 percent) in the first half, but Wofford shot better, hitting 20 of 29 shots (69.0 percent) that included nine three-pointers. The Terriers opened on a 14-5 run, but Austin Peay cut it to five on a Robinson dunk with 12:56 to go in the first half.

From there, Wofford went on another long 17-4 run to extend the lead to 18. Although Robinson and Chris Porter-Bunton would each score nine in the half, three Terriers—Fletcher Magee (16 points), Jaylen Allen (13) and Ryan Sawvell (12)—reached double figures in the opening 20 minutes and the Govs were down 55-31 heading into the locker room.

Robinson scored 19 second-half points and the Governors actually outshot Wofford (59.3 percent to 51.5 percent) over the final 20 minutes, the deficit proved too much to overcome. Head coach Dave Loos shook up the lineup in the second half, with freshman Jartavious Dobbs (20 minutes) and junior Tre' Ivory (21 minutes, 14 in the half) seeing their most extended playing time this season.

OLE MISS 78, MURRAY STATE 73
OXFORD, Miss.
- The Murray State Racers nearly erased a 20-point deficit but fell short in a 78-73 loss to the Ole Miss Rebels at the Pavilion at Ole Miss Thursday in Oxford, Miss.

Terrell Miller scored 27 points and hauled in 10 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to keeping the Racers from falling to 5-6.

The Rebels went into the intermission leading the Racers 43-31 after MSU struggle on offensive and went more than eight minutes without a field goal.

Murray State fell behind 62-42 with 10:55 remaining and still trailed by 12 with 3:00 on the clock. The Racers managed to get back into the game and cut the Ole Miss lead to single digits when Jonathan Stark hit a pair of free throws with 1:02 left. The Racers forced a turnover and Damarcus Croaker scored to make it a 76-70 game with 45-seconds left. After Miller made one of two from the line, MSU forced Ole Miss into another turnover, but Miller missed a 3-point try that would've cut the lead to one with :16 left.

Croaker added 13 points and eight rebounds to the Racer attack and Stark added 12 points.

The Racers hit 36 percent from the field on 22-of-61, while Ole Miss hit 36 percent on 22-of-62. Both teams hit seven threes in the game and the Rebels won the rebound stat 49-42.
