Brown finished tied for third in a field of 55 golfers at the UC Riverside Winter Intercollegiate, the first event any OVC team competed in this semester (Jan. 25-26). The sophomore carded rounds of 75-74-74 to finish at 223 (+7). His played helped the EKU team to a third-place finish in a field of 10 teams. The event was held at the Oak Valley Golf Club in Beaumont, California.

Magnusson opened her spring season by finishing in a tie for first place out of 62 competitors at the Matador Invitational held at the Wood Ranch Golf Club in Simi Valley, California. The junior had rounds of 80-75-77 to finish at 232 (+16) and finish in a tie with USC's Amy Lee, who won medalist honors following a card-off. It marked her second career tournament victory of the season and helped her team to a second place finish out of 10 squads. Magnusson currently leads the OVC in stroke average (73.3).
